What does a middle aged man do that is broke. I have worked all my life, raised 5 kids, and do not have one thing to show for it. Other than, 5 wonderful kids and a wife of 32 years. I am 53 years old, I have always worked hard and did an outstanding job. My last job played out because the owner was a total idiot and mismanaged all of his money. The day he could not pay me was sobering. Before that the owner was a total nimpho and married someone she met on the internet after 3 months and walked away from her business. It has been 5 weeks an no one is lining up to hire me. The internet offers all kinds of promises but they seem to be empty and full of come ons. Lets face it, I am in trouble. No one wants to hire a middle aged man with a ton of experience but no college degree. I have almost completed my associates degree, but not yet. Sleep has become my enemy. I cannot sleep because I lay there judging myself and wondering what to do next. My wife has been great, no ugly words but I know she worries. Lot of things I would like to do but no capitol to start up. I am a great cook and the best customer service person you have ever seen. I have a ton of experience in the construction supply area, nails, nail guns compressors, etc. That is another reason for my downfall., The construction industry took a nose dive and I lost it all. Oh well, I have spilled my guts but I know somehow I will be okay, because of family/ That is the one thing that I can say we did right.
